Habit
Grows impressively between 4 to 8 feet tall when in full bloom, showcasing an abundance of large, showy and vibrant cup-shaped flowers in delightful shades of pinks, purples, and reds. These tall, gorgeous cottage-style flowers are often adorned with large, fig-like leaves, creating a stunning display together with the flowers that provides an array of both gorgeous pastel and bold colors.

Enjoys moist, fertile soil and a sunny spot.

Germination/Sowing
Seeds germinate easily and can be direct sown in fall or spring, or started in flats in the spring and then transplanted. 

Growing/Care
Plants can be cut back in fall time. They need a spot with regular moisture throughout the season.

Harvesting
Hollyhock leaves and flowers are gathered when the plants are in bloom.

Culinary Uses
The leaves and flowers can be added to salads.

Medicinal Uses
