50 days to harvest. Biennial. Grown as an annual in zones 2-11. Overwinter in zones 7 and higher to harvest spring flower buds. Year-round staple. Tolerates temps down to -12C and gets sweeter with frost. Enjoy fresh in salads, steamed, added to dishes. In Spring the edible flower buds can be eaten like broccoli. Sow seeds in Spring, and again in Summer for a Fall/Winter crop.
