Perennial. Zones 5-9. Full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Plants are busy and compact to 8” tall and wide. Small violet flowers are a very deep dark-purple with hints of yellow in centre. Edible and pleasant tasting flower wonderful as a garnish in salads and on deserts. Fast growing, blooms the first year grown from seed.
