Perennial. Zones 4-8. Native to the PNW from BC to California. Full sun to part sun. Prefers moist soil. 2-3ft tall. Spreads by rhizomes. Clusters of tiny bright-yellow flowers with many stamens appear in early summer. Nervine and antidepressant. Helps to repair damaged nerve tissue. Strong antiviral and anti-inflammatory.
